I found one of your companies many websites on the Internet introducing us into the park, hold, hang or warehouse your real estate license here in Ontario Canada.  I have friends in the real estate sales industry and some of them reside in different locations across Ontario and your parking licence service claims that Ontario agents can park their license from any location as long as the license is registered with RECO in Ontario.  Personally I reside in Toronto but my family is currently deciding whether we will move homes and place our roots down in either Mississauga, Oakville or possibly further North like Barrie or Bradford. 




I still need to get a license first, and hence am going through the entire program to earn my Ontario real estate licence with OREA.  When I pass all my requirements with OREA and I am ready to become a Registrant with RECO I understand that I need to join an Ontario real estate Brokerage Firm.  I also get that I have the option to join with a Brokerage that is not a member of any real estate board or Association.  This along with accepting a position with a non Franchise Brokerage will save me hundreds and possibly thousands of dollars I do not have to waste right now.  I need this because I am planning to keep my regular job for a while and I will not be an active real estate agent while still at my job.  Maybe I can begin my real estate career by being part-time.  Therefore I have a few concerns about hanging my real estate licence with you.


1.  Am I allowed to be an inactive real estate agent and not produce sales for a while?


2.  If I choose to keep my license inactive or parked can I give my sales to other license agents and receive a referral fee/commission?


3.  How much is my investment – cost to park my licence?


4.  When I am ready to sell full-time or part-time can I do so without the real estate board services and do I still get full support from your Brokerage?
