Linda is a registered real estate agent in the Province of Ontario and is employed as an independent contractor with a local real estate Brokerage. She decided many moons ago that a real estate career was in the cards and dreamed about earning a great living helping people buy and sell properties in Ontario, specifically in the Northern parts which include cottage living.  However, Linda was having a difficult time taking her foot off of first base in order to get to second base.  Her existing job at the time was not fun but lucrative enough for her to find it hard to give up.  After some experience in real estate sales and coming to learn that as an agent commissions did not easily flow in without the hard work required, she looked for other options.

Linda passed her final exam approximately 3 and 1/2 months following her decision to earn her RECO Registration allowing her to sell real estate in Ontario.  Mandatory real estate courses were next on her list as a requirement to keep her license in force.  That seemed like a hefty price to pay with time and financial investment and now the decision on whether to keep her license active and in good standing with RECO or to let it lapse then eventually terminate.

Find out what option was available to Linda and how she took advantage of that option to keep her license active and still earn commissions while she cut her costs in the process.

Why did Linda Park her real estate agent license?
